<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety of an image forming apparatus having a plurality of commercial power source inputs. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus comprises: a load to which power is supplied in accordance with each of AC input sections; an AC switching circuit 12 connected to any one of AC input connecting sections; a circuit that supplies power to the AC switching circuit 12 from another AC input connecting section different from the AC input connecting section connected to the AC switching circuit 12; relays 7 and 8 for switching the connection with the load to which power is supplied in accordance with each of AC input sections different from the AC switching circuit 12; a main power source switch 11 connected to the AC switching circuit 12; a constant voltage power source 25 to which power is supplied from the commercial power source via the main power source switch 11 connected to the AC switching circuit 12; and a circuit that supplies power from the constant voltage power source means (25) to the relays 7 and 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
