<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information extraction method, a registration device, a collation device, and a program for improving authentication accuracy while suppressing information quantity of an identification subject. <P>SOLUTION: A common part of silhouettes at a living body portion in images concerned is created as a three-dimensional image in an object space from a plurality of images by using the surrounding of the living body as the viewpoints, and values indicating shapes of a plurality of cross sections of the three-dimensional image having prescribed positional relationships to a reference position of the three-dimensional image are extracted as identification information. While showing a cross section of a part of the three-dimensional image of the living body, since identification data is extracted so as to show a cross section having a fixed relationship with a reference position of an exterior shape of the three-dimensional image, the three-dimensional image may be expressed discretely. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
