<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processing apparatus for further efficiently reducing power consumed by a termination voltage; a method of controlling the termination voltage of a data processing apparatus; and an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: This data processing apparatus is provided with: a data processing means; a storage means acting as a main storage device of the data processing means; and a termination voltage application means short-circuited to each of a plurality of connection wires connecting the data processing means to the storage means, and applying a termination voltage to the connection wires through termination resistors. The data processing apparatus is also provided with a disconnection means connected between the connection wires and the termination resistors, and turning on/off the supply of the termination voltage in accordance with a data processing condition of the data processing means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
