<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a target detector for surely detecting a small target moving at a high speed, reducing a process scale, and quickly detecting the target. <P>SOLUTION: The target detector comprises: an integration circuit 1 for implementing a coherent integration or a noncoherent integration of a received signal in the PRI direction per range cell; a range cell local maximum value extracting circuit 2 for extracting a range cell as the local maximum value between the first maximum value and the P-th maximum value of the integration values obtained by the integration circuit (P is a positive integer); an integration series extracting circuit 3 for extracting M combinations of integration series from K range cells around P range cells extracted by the range cell local maximum value extracting circuit (M is a positive integer); a coherent integration circuit 5 for implementing coherent integrations of M combinations of the integration series extracted by the integration series extracting circuit; a maximum value extracting circuit 6 for extracting the maximum value of the integration values obtained by the coherent integration circuit; and a detection circuit 8 for detecting the target based on the maximum value extracted by the maximum value extracting circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
