METHOD FOR REUSING EXHAUST GAS FROM POLYMER PRODUCTION PLANT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for removing impurities such as polymerization solvents and residual monomers from inert gases discharged from a polymer production plant and reusing the inert gases in the polymer production plant.

SOLUTION: The polymerization solvents and residual monomers contained in the inert gases are adsorbed and removed in an adsorption and removing step for adsorbing and removing the polymerization solvents and residual monomers by passing the inert gases discharged from the polymer production plant through an adsorption bed filled with an adsorbent free of precoating with a hydrocarbon. The obtained inert gases of a predetermined purity is reused in the polymer production plant.
