ANTI-BACK OUT FASTENER

An anti-back out fastener includes a head featuring a lower surface and a shaft connected to the lower surface. The shaft features a thread portion and a tip region including a.seif-dnlimg point forming the distal end of the shall. The head also features a driver portion and the lower surface has an undercut formed therein with a number of locking nubs and a washer positioned therein. The locking nubs are shaped to pass over the washer when the fastener is rotated hi a first direction and dig into the washer when an attempt is made to rotate the fastener in a second direction.
