The invention relates to an elastic wheel and to a method for manufacturing such a wheel. The elastic wheel (100) comprises: a hub (101), a tyre (102), an elastic annulus (103) positioned between the hub (101) and the tyre (102), and an anti-squeal means (104) positioned inside the elastic wheel, against the elastic annulus (103) and the tyre (102), characterized in that the anti-squeal means (104) consists: of a layer (104a) of viscoelastic material positioned against the tyre (102); and of an insert (104b) positioned against the elastic annulus (103) and the layer (104a) of viscoelastic material, the insert (104b) being more rigid than the layer (104a) of viscoelastic material so as to force this layer (104a) of viscoelastic material against the tyre (102). |
