PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gesture detection device capable of detecting gesture operations including operation directions on two axes with an inexpensive structure.SOLUTION: A gesture detection device includes: a pair of infrared LEDs 12 that with respect to each of gesture operation directions of a predetermined two axes, is arrayed along a direction crossing each of the two axes in a surface formed by the two axes, is arranged so that intervals A, B in the respective gesture operation directions are different from each other, and each outputs light; an infrared sensor 14 that detects reflection light output from the infrared LED 12 and reflected by the gesture operation; and a controller 16 that when the infrared sensor 14 detects reflection light, drives the infrared LED 12 so as to enable light which infrared LED has output to be discriminated, and detects a gesture operation direction on the basis of the detection result of the infrared sensor 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
