The present invention relates to an expanded polyethylene resin composition for a fireproofing agent. More particularly, the expanded polyethylene resin composition for a fireproofing agent is prepared by cross-linking: 40-60 wt% of polyethylene; 8-15 wt% of an elastomer; 23-30 wt% of expanded graphite; 4-7 wt% of zinc oxide; 4-7 wt% of titanium dioxide; and 1-2 wt% of any one flame retardant selected among a phosphorous-based flame retardant, aluminum hydroxide, and a bromine-based flame retardant. The expanded polyethylene resin composition prevents fire by blocking gaps which allows flames and smoke to spread among floors or rooms. |
