PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an α-β type titanium alloy having excellent hot workability and high strength at a level of an α-β type titanium alloy represented by Ti-6Al-4V, and exhibiting excellent machinability than that of the Ti-6Al-4V.SOLUTION: An α-β type titanium alloy includes, by mass%, at least one element selected from 0.1-2.0% Cu and 0.1-2.0% Ni, 2.0-8.5% Al, 0.08-0.25% C, and at least one element selected from 0-4.5% Cr and 0-2.5% Fe, in total 1.0-7.0%, and the balance Ti with inevitable impurities.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
