PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure adjustment ability of a subject's eye while reducing influence caused by accommodative convergence.SOLUTION: A subjective optometer of an embodiment includes: a measurement optical system, a spherical power change unit, an optical axis deflection unit, and a deflection control unit. The measurement optical system comprises: a visual target that is presented to a subject's eye on a measurement optical axis; and a spherical lens whose spherical power on the measurement optical axis can be changed. The spherical power change unit changes the spherical lens's spherical power. The optical axis deflection unit deflects the measurement optical axis. The deflection control unit makes the measurement optical axis agree with a visual axis of the subject's eye at which accommodative convergence has been caused by the spherical power change unit's change in the spherical lens's spherical power, by controlling the optical axis deflection unit on the basis of a previously measured AC/A ratio of the subject. The subjective optometer measures adjustment ability on the basis of the spherical lens's spherical power in a state in which the measurement optical axis has been deflected by the optical axis deflection unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
