PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration in which occurrence of discomfort given to a driver can be reduced as much as possible even during operation of control based on mechanical input in a driving support system for a vehicle.SOLUTION: The driving support control device for a vehicle determines: an index value for vehicle motion; an index value for a driving condition by a driver; a driving characteristic value to be estimated based on the index value for vehicle motion and the index value for a driving condition; a target value for steering assist torque by which a target value for vehicle motion and a target value for a driving condition, determined without depending on driving by the driver are respectively acquired and at least one of a difference between the target value for vehicle motion and the index value for vehicle motion and a difference between the target value for a driving condition and the index value for a driving condition is converged; and a target value for a braking force difference between right and left wheels, which controls the steering assist torque and the braking force difference between the right and left wheels to respective target value therefor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
