The appts. for peeling garlic hull comprises a hopper (2), a cylindrical shell (5) having a discharge opening (3) downwards, and a rotation shaft (8) which is placed in the center of the cylindrical shell and rotated in a high speed by an electric motor (7). The rotation shaft is formed by inserting a lot of spacer tubes (10) in a regular interval with a gap (11) onto a core bar (9) and fastening several rubber tubes with a predetermined length, which are axially arranged around the periphery of the shaft, to the core bar in all the gaps formed between the two adjacent spacer tubes so as to make peeling protrusions (13). The cylindrical shell with the rotation shaft is inclined down towards the discharge opening at 15 to 25 degrees with respect to the horizontal line. The cylindrical shell has a spiral steel wire (6) fixed to the inner wall and a metal band (14) positioned at the middle portion.
