PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an enclosed type compressor to reduce noise generated downstream of a discharge port, easily and at a low cost. SOLUTION: This compressor comprises an enclosed container 1 to store a motor-driven element 2 and a compression element 3, a plurality of cylinders 5 and 6 situated at the compression element 3, an intermediate partition plate 4 for partitioning a plurality of cylinders 5 and 6, two bearing parts 9 and 10 for closing the opening ends of the two cylinders, positioned at two end parts, of a plurality of the cylinders 5 and 6 and have a discharge port, two discharge muffler cups 11 and 12 fitted in bearing parts 9 and 10, respectively, a gas passage 16 arranged in the two bearing parts 9 and 10 and the intermediate partition plate 4 and guiding refrigerant gas, which is discharged from the cylinder being a part of a plurality of the cylinders 5 and 6 and with which one discharge muffler cup is filled, to the interior of the other discharge muffler cup, and a Helmholtz type muffler situated at the intermediate partition plate 4 and provided with a small space and a small tube communicating with the small space and opened to the gas passage.
