PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a whitish wood-touch color which is non-harmonious with a coated face from appearing by notching woodgraining lines in a plain plate of wood material through a laser beam working process. SOLUTION: An almost perpendicular linear groove (b) is slotted in a woodgraining line which represents the periphery of a decorative cloth attaching part provided on a plain plate A using a laser beam working process. Next a masking tape (n) on the surface of the decorative cloth attaching part encircled by the linear groove (b) is peeled. After that, the part inside the linear groove (b) of the decorative cloth attaching part is cut obliquely along the linear groove (b) using a knife to form an oblique face. Further a double-coated tape 5 is applied in such a manner that the oblique face is covered across the entire oblique face and its outer peripheral area from the decorative cloth attaching part, and is cut from the linear groove (b) to peel the double-coated tape 5 applied on the outer periphery. After that, a decorative cloth 6 is applied using the double-coated tape 5 of the decorative cloth attaching part and is cut along the linear groove (b) using a knife or the like while the decorative cloth 6 is woodgrained in the linear groove (b).
