PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tack-in unit that can effectively prevent the weft from loosening at the top edge of the turned weft in no need of extra measure to deform a shape-modified reed. SOLUTION: The selvedge regulator 37 that is integrally formed by folding a plate comprises the horizontal part 39, the vertical part 59 that is connected to the horizontal part 39 almost at right angle, and the position regulator 60 that is cantilevered to the lower end of the vertical part 59. The position regulator 60 comprises the first regulation plate 61 that directly connects with the horizontal part 39, the second regulation plate 62 that opposes to the first regulation plate 61 and the curved binding plate 63 for binding the first regulation plate 61 and the second regulation plate 62. The position regulator 60 can be inserted into the weft-shooting path 151 for the shape-modified reed 15.
