PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a lid for a continuously rolled wet sheet storing container into a shape which enables the lid to be opened and closed by simple manipulation. SOLUTION: This lid is composed of a cap main body 10 and a large lid 20. The cap main body 10 having an opening portion 11 at the central part thereof comprises a top wall portion 12 projecting toward the inner circumferential direction of the opening portion 11 and having a sheet stop slit 14 which has a take-out hole and a slit formed in the circumference of the take-out hole so as to extend up to an edge of the top wall portion 12 on the side of the opening portion 11, a fitting portion 16 rising on the circumference of the opening portion 11, and a circumferential wall portion 13 provided in a suspended state underneath the fitting portion 16. The large lid 20 comprises a top plate 21 which is connected to the top wall portion 12 of the cap main body 10 so as to cover it with the aid of a hinge 15 provided at a position facing the sheet stop slit 14 and interposed between the top plate 21 and the top wall portion 12, a circumferential wall 22 provided on a circumferential edge of the top plate 21 in a suspended state so as to be fitted to the fitting portion 16, and a partition wall 24.
