PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stopping method of a reformer, which suppresses the performance reduction of a catalyst due to condensation of steam by purging the steam from the reformer, and suppresses the consumption of a raw fuel used for the purge of the steam, and can be reduced in the energy loss, when the reformer is stopped.SOLUTION: The method has a step of supplying the raw fuel to a reactor and purging a gas in the reactor with the raw fuel after the catalyst temperature in the reactor descends to a temperature of a thermal decomposition of the raw fuel; and when the dew-point temperature or the relative humidity of a purged gas discharged from the reactor of the reformer falls below a predetermined value, the step is finished, and the reactor is sealed and stored. |
