PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve assembling work efficiency by surely preventing lateral slipping of flat burners during assembling a combustion device, in the combustion device comprising a combustion box 5, and having a partitioning plate 55 for partitioning a space inside of the combustion box into a combustion chamber 5a and an air supply chamber 5b at a lower side of the combustion chamber, and the plurality of flat burners laterally arranged in a state that their lower edges are received by the partitioning plate. SOLUTION: The partitioning plate 55 is provided with a plurality of projections 554 projecting upward, positioned at one side and the other side in the lateral direction of the box opposite to the lower edges of the flat burners 6, and alternately formed in the longitudinal direction. As the lower edges of the flat burners 6 are held from lateral both sides by the projections 554, the lateral slipping of the flat burners can be prevented. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
