<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor and image processing method capable of suppressing the occurrence of noise and a blur which occur at a boundary of adjacent domain blocks during converting resolution of an original image. <P>SOLUTION: A block correlation S6 and a pixel correlation S7 are calculated from a domain block image S3 and a reduction range block candidate image S5, and the correlations are used to calculate a correlation evaluation value H. An output image S15 of each pixel when the resolution of the original image S1 is converted is set on the basis of a selection range block image whose correlation evaluation value H becomes the highest among selection range block images S8 that overlap on coordinates S14 of the output image S15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
