PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase maximally the charge/discharge efficiency with a regenerative power absorption apparatus by mounting the regenerative power absorption apparatus on a moble carriage and moving to an optimal position according to the movement of the wave of load variation of an overhead power line in order to achieve a desired energy saving effect.SOLUTION: A mobile regenerative power absorption apparatus 5 movable on a route on which a plurality of trains run includes a power incoming part carrying out power incoming from an overhead power line 6, a power storage unit 8, a power conversion unit 15 and charge/discharge control part 10 controlling charging and discharging of the power storage unit through the power conversion unit. A service management system calculates a section providing a charge/discharge efficiency higher than a specified value according to the magnitude and frequency of the load variation by power running or regeneration of trains running on the route and moves the mobile regeneration power absorption apparatus 5 to the section. |
