PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a vehicle, which when executing idle stop control and automatic brake control during traveling, can avoid misrecognition of a driver after start of the automatic brake control and improve the safety and merchantability.SOLUTION: A control device 1 comprises an ECU2. The ECU 2 executes idle stop control of temporarily stopping and restarting an internal combustion engine 3 (steps 30-43, 50-62, 70-73), and executes automatic brake control of automatically braking a vehicle V (steps 1-6) when there is an obstacle ahead of the vehicle V. The control device, when the internal combustion engine 3 is in a stopped state in traveling of the vehicle V during the idle stop control, determines after starting of the automatic brake control whether or not a predetermined alighting condition is met (steps 50-55, 59) and when the predetermined alighting condition is satisfied, restarts the internal combustion engine 3 (steps 61, 72, 73). |
