PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil component capable of easily increasing the number of times of winding a coil electrode around a coil core.SOLUTION: A coil component 1a comprises an insulation layer 2 in which a coil core 3 is embedded, and a coil electrode 4 that is wound around the coil core 3. The coil electrode 4 includes: a plurality of upper wiring patterns 6a which are arrayed on a top face of the insulation layer 2; a plurality of lower wiring patterns 6b which are arrayed on a bottom face of the insulation layer 2 to form a plurality of pairs with the upper wiring patterns 6a; a plurality of inner metal pins 5a connecting one-side ends of the paired upper and lower wiring patterns 6a and 6b; and a plurality of outer metal pins 5b each for connecting the-other-side end of one upper wiring pattern 6a and the-other-side end of the lower wiring pattern 6b neighboring to the lower wiring pattern 6b paired with the one upper wiring pattern 6a. The upper and lower wiring patterns 6a and 6b are disposed orthogonally to a central axis CA1 that is parallel with a winding axis direction of the coil electrode 4 of the coil core 3 in a planar view.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
