Systems and methods for implementing access control based on location-based cookies

A communication device may have a set of web cookies designated for a specific location. When the communication device enters the specific location, the set of web cookies, which are designated for the specific location, may be used to customize a web page displayed at the communication device. When the communication device exits the specific location, the set of web cookies, which are designated for the specific location, may be inactivated. Different sets of web cookies may be designated for different locations. For example, a set of web cookies may be designated for home and another set of web cookies may be designated for work. The communication device may activate an appropriate set of web cookies based on the location of the communication device.

1. A system for managing access to electronic pages, the system comprising:
a non-transitory memory storing cookies for customizing access to electronic pages; and one or more hardware processors coupled to the non-transitory memory and configured to read instructions from the non-transitory memory to cause the system to perform operations comprising:
receiving a request from a device to visit an electronic page;determining that the memory has a cookie associated with the electronic page;determining that the cookie is a location-based cookie designated for use in a particular location;detecting a location of the device;determining whether the device is in the particular location based on the location of the device; andcausing a security or privacy setting for access for the electronic page by the device to be set based on the location-based cookie and a presence of the device in the particular location.
