[Problem] To provide a balloon catheter capable of easily removing air in a balloon lumen of the balloon catheter, and preventing blood or the like from being sucked into the catheter during deflation of the balloon. [Solution] The balloon catheter 100 according to the present invention is provided with a core tube 10, a balloon 20 provided around an outer circumference of the core tube in the vicinity of a distal side, a proximal outer tube 30 provided around the outer circumference of the core tube on a proximal side of the balloon, and a distal outer tube 40 provided and joined to the outer circumference of the core tube and provided on a distal side of the balloon, wherein an air discharge hole having a diameter of 0.035 mm or less is provided on the distal outer tube or between the distal outer tube and the core tube. |
