PURPOSE: Construction structure and method of a water meter are provided to reduce the occupying area of a water meter since an existing horizontal connecting pipe is not needed. CONSTITUTION: A construction structure of a water meter is as follows. An inlet(131) and an outlet(133) are formed on both ends of a water meter(130). The inlet and the outlet are vertically bent. A pipe coupling member(140) connects the inlet and the outlet to a supply pipe(110) and a discharge pipe(120).
