PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor that is excellent in abrasion resistance to a practical load and electrical property.SOLUTION: There is provided an electrophotographic photoreceptor comprising a photosensitive layer on a conductive support, wherein the photosensitive layer contains a polyester resin having a repeating unit of a divalent carboxylic acid residue and a divalent phenol residue represented by the following formula (1).
