PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make easy the understanding of description on operation and make an appeal even to a separate place by applying the constitution that the description on operation at each cooking process is not only shown by a display means, but also audibly reported. SOLUTION: This cooker is equipped with an ordinary processing memory means 1 for storing a cooking processing program for implementing each cooking process as cooking, an operation description processing memory means 2 for storing an operation description processing program for describing a cooking operation, and a voice producing means 10 for audibly reporting the operation description. The cooker is further equipped with a cooking setting means 3 for setting cooking reservation and a cooking menu, a start means 4 for outputting an instruction for the start of a cooking process, a mode selection means 5 for selecting the call of the processing program of the ordinary processing memory means 1 and the operation description processing memory means 2, and a control means 7 for causing a heating means 8 to operate over a preset time on the basis of the cooking processing program for implementing each cooking process, and audibly reporting the operation description via a voice processing means 10 on the basis of the operation description processing program when the operation description processing memory means 2 is selected via the mode selection means 5.
