PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pencil capable of easily housing a pen part or a brush constituted at the tip part of the pencil inside a housing without using a separate cap and improving the convenience of use by maximizing the length by a simple operation. SOLUTION: This pencil is composed of an internal housing 20, a driving power transmission part 30 installed inside the internal housing 20, a first external housing 40 movably connected to the upper outer peripheral part of the internal housing 20, a head part 10 composed of a head 11 fixed to the first external housing 40 and a linear movement means whose upper end is fixed to a head 11 linked with the driving power transmission part 30, a second external housing 60 fixed to the lower outer peripheral part of the internal housing 20, a pull-out part 50 composed of the linear movement means movably positioned inside the second external housing 60 and linked with the driving power transmission part 30 at a position facing the linear movement means of the head part 10, and a part fixed to the lower end of the linear movement means and exposed to the outside of the second external housing 60. Then, at the time of transferring the head part 10, the pull-out part 50 is transferred in the opposite direction to the transfer direction of the head part 10 by a rotation means.
