PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building which enhances energy saving and improves habitability thereof. SOLUTION: There is provided a building which has habitable rooms 4 on respective stories and an open ceiling 3 communicating with the respective rooms on a side of an external wall 2. An exhaust port 6 is openably formed at an upper portion of the open ceiling 3 and a fresh air intake port 7 is formed at a lower portion of the same. At least part of the external wall 2 having the open ceiling 3 arranged inside is constituted of transparent sheet glasses which are arranged at locations where the sheet glasses can be seen from each habitable room 4 through the open ceiling 3.
