<p>Horizontal and vertical broad band signals (6, 7) from a satellite (5) are received by a dish with converters (12, 13) that each connect to amplifiers (16, 17), electro optical converters (20, 21) and then via optical transmission lines to modulators (18, 19) the emission wavelengths of the two signals serve as the carrier wavelengths. The signals pass through a coupler (48) and one output of the coupler is connected (24) to a signal receiver (26) that has a frequency selective filter (37), demodulators (31, 32), a switching stage (33) and a decoder (34). A similar receiver is used to handle the other signal. Both receivers are connected to separate radios.</p> |
