PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ornamental string full of variety of raw materials and formed by arranging beads therein, and to provide an accessory given by using the ornamental string. SOLUTION: This ornamental string is composed of a link line and an ornamental line, wherein the ornamental string is made by using one or more of wires, gut, ribbons, and strings as the link line and as the ornamental line, and then together twining one or more of the link lines and one or more of the ornamental lines, while crossing them each other, so as to be formed into a sequence of crosses. Further, the ornamental string may be made by inserting the link line through the beads and together twining, so as to be formed into a sequence of the crosses and the beads.
