PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medicament chemically stable and amplifying proliferative action on bacillus bifidus of sparingly digestible neutral oligosaccharide. SOLUTION: The invention relates to the medicament amplifying action on bacillus bifidus of sparingly digestible neutral oligosaccharide comprising an acidic oligosaccharide as an active component composed of the sparingly digestible neutral oligosaccharide linked with a weak acid. The preferred weak acid is uronic acid or phenolic acid. The composition with bacillus bifidus proliferative action comprises the medicament and the sparingly digestible neutral oligosaccharide.
