PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain loss by preventing turbulence of the flow of stream coming from a steam turbine, and to achieve improvement of efficiency and reduction of the size. SOLUTION: A guide plate 7 is provided so as to communicate with an outlet of the steam between blades 5 of an impeller 3. The steam coming from the impeller 3 flows along the guide plate 7 without turbulence, and is delivered from the steam outlet 13. Thus, loss by turbulence of the flow can be prevented, and torque generated in the impeller 3 can be effectively used, and efficiency of the steam turbine can be highly enhanced.
