<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid water immersion into an elevator control device or a hoist in a hoistway during fire fighting in fire of a building. <P>SOLUTION: The emergency elevator system for installing the elevator control device 3 and the hoist in the hoistway 1 without having a machine room is provided with the hoistway 1 limited against fires, an apparatus housing box body 2 attached to a suitable section in the hoistway higher than a pit of the hoistway 1 and applied with water-proof processing, and an apparatus water-proof housing means housing at least one of the elevator control device 3 and the hoist in the apparatus housing box body 2 and preventing water immersion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
