摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transflective pixel structure for a liquid crystal display panel, and to provide a method for manufacturing the structure. <P>SOLUTION: The transflective pixel structure for a liquid crystal display panel comprises upper and lower substrates, facing each other and a liquid crystal layer disposed therebetween. The lower substrate comprises a reflective region and an adjacent transmissive region. A protrusion is formed on the surface of the upper substrate, facing and corresponding to the lower substrate of the reflective region, wherein an edge of the protrusion defines transition from the reflective region to the transmissive region, and the edge is extended along a first direction. An alignment layer covers the protrusion and the upper substrate and is aligned along a second direction, parallel to the first direction or extended from the reflective region to the transmissive region so as to intersect with the first direction.
