摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a carrier recovery circuit which performs high-accuracy carrier recovery with respect to a signal transmitted by an M-ary/SS system, without having to use a channel dedicated to synchronization. <P>SOLUTION: The carrier recovery circuit is used in a reception device which receives a multiplexed signal generated by subjecting an M-ary/SS modulated signal further to channel code multiplexing and which performs a carrier position correction of a base band signal generated by frequency converting the multiplexed signal, and the carrier recovery circuit generates a recovered carrier signal for performing carrier phase correction, based on a partial correlation value between a base band signal and a spreading code. The carrier recovery circuit includes maximum orthogonal correlation value selecting sections 20-1 to 20-N which obtains sums of squares of the real part and imaginary part of an orthogonal correlation value, as a correlation value between the partial correlation value and an orthogonal series group used for the M-ary/SS modulation and selects an orthogonal correlation value giving the maximum sum of squares; and an addition section 21 which adds maximum orthogonal correlation values, as many as the predetermined number of channels equal to or fewer than the maximum number of channels and generates the recovered carrier signal, based on the result of the addition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
