<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor and a digital camera capable of effectively applying to an image both noise canceling processing and edge-enhancement processing. <P>SOLUTION: The image processor includes a control means for applying noise canceling processing (S17) for canceling noises in an image by discriminating them from patterns and edge-enhancement processing (S14) of the image to an identical image in this order. When intensity of the noise canceling processing (S17) is improved, the effect of the edge-enhancement processing (S14) is not blocked, and when the intensity of the edge-enhancement processing (S14) is improved, the effect of the noise canceling processing (S17) is not blocked.
