<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a marking system capable of performing marking without complicating the configuration of the system. <P>SOLUTION: In a control method in the marking system where a reader is connected to the marking device for marking a workpiece, the reader reads the marking data for marking, adds a control command for making the marking performed to the read data to create a marking command, and outputs it to a marking device.
