PHYSICAL CONTROL AGENTS AND CONTROL METHOD FROM WATER-SOLUBLE POLYMER AGAINST SMALL-SIZE INSECT PESTS

A physical control agent of small-size insect pests includes water; and a water-soluble polymer that is dissolved in the water and forms a film by vaporization of the water. When the physical control agent is sprayed onto small-size insect pests, the water-soluble polymer is adhered to a wing or leg of the small-size insect pests which parasitize crops, and makes motion of the small- size insect pests dull. As water in the physical control agent is vaporized, the water-soluble polymer forms a film, and physically hinders the small-size insect pests' flight or walking, finally exterminating them. The present invention reduces the use of pesticides to prevent human poisoning and not to hinder crop growth. And, the present invention uses water as a solvent to provide economical efficiency, and can easily remove the water-soluble polymer from crops by repeated use.
