<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic developer and toner for black which are safe and excellent in coloring power and charging property and give a high-quality and high-definition image. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The electrophotographic toner contains at least a binder resin and a colorant, wherein the colorant contains at least an aniline black structure compound containing no heavy metal.
