PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burst control circuit, a semiconductor optical amplification relay device, and a burst optical transmission device, capable of achieving a burst extinction ratio required for a multiple branching next-generation optical access system, and of performing burst control of a semiconductor optical amplifier.SOLUTION: In a burst control circuit, a semiconductor optical amplification relay device, and a burst optical transmission device, a forward voltage is applied to a semiconductor optical amplifier when an optical signal is amplified, and a reverse voltage is applied to the semiconductor optical amplifier when the optical signal is blocked.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
