PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for a drum brake capable of reducing the pulsation of brake torque without requiring high responsiveness. SOLUTION: The rotating angle of a drum is found by a rotating angle operating part 11. Torque fluctuation is detected by a torque fluctuation range/ phase operating part 12 and torque fluctuation for every rotating angle (phase) of the drum is detected. Thus, the torque fluctuation for every rotating angle is previously turned out and a value for an indicator current for eliminating the torque fluctuation is also turned out. Therefore, the correction of the indicator current is carried out in accordance with the torque fluctuation for every rotating angle. Because a control lag exists in the control device for the drum brake, the phase of the indicator current is quickened considering the equivalent of the control lag. This prevents the pulsation of the brake torque. |
