PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid material that is formed from a lamination film of two-layer structure composed of a gas barrier film and an easy-to-peel sealant film without reinforcement film, thereby that is rendered environmentally friendly through weight reduction and simplified manufacturing process but also has easy-to-peel performance, gas barrier properties, and aroma retention required for the lid material and further prevents film residue, film tear, and breakage during opening, and to provide a packaging container including the lid material.SOLUTION: A lid material comprises a lamination film formed by arranging a base material layer, an adhesive resin layer, and a sealant layer in this order from outside. The base material layer is a layer of gas barrier film. The adhesive resin layer is a layer formed by fusing and extruding acid modified polyolefin resin. The sealant layer is a layer formed from a sealant film comprising a polyethylene resin layer and an easy-to-peal layer. The easy-to-peel layer is an innermost layer which is formed from a blend polymer alloy containing two types of resin, which are not compatible with each other.
