PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of notifying a user of failure in the issue of a job without damaging the user's operability.SOLUTION: When an MFP_B receives a job and authentication information (S1-1, S1-2), an image processing system performs user authentication on the basis of the authentication information (S2-1, S2-2). If the user authentication is successful (S2-1), the job is stored in association with user information (S3-1). If the user authentication fails (S2-2), job information of the job is stored (S3-2). When the user logs in an MFP_A (S4), the job information of the job stored in association with the log-in user, and the job information of the job that fails in the user authentication (S6 to S9) from the MFP_B to the MFP_A in response to a request from the MFP_A (S5).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
