PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diesel engine control device capable of making effective use of an opportunity to make it possible to perform safe automatic regeneration in situations where a case in which automatic regeneration should be restricted is assumed and increasing the number of times of safe automatic regeneration.SOLUTION: When special-environment determination means determines that an environment is not a special environment or when the special-environment determination means determines that the environment is the special environment and an exhaust pipe temperature estimated by exhaust-pipe-temperature estimation means is lower than a predetermined exhaust pipe temperature, execution of automatic regeneration means is permitted; and when the special-environment determination means determines that the environment is the special environment and the exhaust pipe temperature estimated by the exhaust-pipe-temperature estimation means is equal to or higher than the predetermined exhaust pipe temperature, the execution of the automatic regeneration means is prohibited and the execution of the automatic regeneration means is interrupted if the automatic regeneration means is being executed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
