摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an elastic roller having a foamed elastic layer excellent in durability even when the layer is made thin, and to provide a pressurizing device capable of easily controlling a compression rate with high reproducibility even for a thin layer of a foamed elastic material and preparing a foamed elastic material exhibiting high durability.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an elastic roller includes a step of pressurizing and rotating a roller raw material having a buffer tube 14 mounted on an outer circumferential surface of a foamed elastic material, by use of three pressurizing pipe bodies 11 to 13 that are disposed at vertexes of a triangle, in such a manner that each pressurizing pipe body radially compresses the roller raw material by 20 to 65% of the total thickness of the foamed elastic material and the buffer tube 14. A pressurizing device 1 includes a first pressurizing pipe body 11, a second pressurizing pipe body 12, a third pressurizing pipe body 13, a rotation mechanism 4 to rotate the pressurizing pipe body 11, and a buffer tube 14 disposed on an outer circumferential surface of a foamed elastic material of a roller raw material.
