The present invention relates to an apparatus for correcting Hangeul pronunciation and a method thereof, capable of allowing a speaker to correct pronunciation for a phrase of meaning units difficult for the speaker to pronounce, by comparing a voice inputted from the speaker with a reference voice of meaning units stored beforehand and instructing the speaker with an inaccurately pronounced phrase of meaning units. To this end, the apparatus for correcting the Hangeul pronunciation according to the present invention includes: a voice storage unit for storing a reference voice of a phrase over meaning units in each sentence; a display unit for displaying the sentence and a phrase of meaning units of which pronunciation is inaccurate in the sentence; a voice input unit for receiving a voice; and a control unit for controlling the display unit to display a sentence stored in the voice storage unit, detecting the phrase of meaning units of which the pronunciation is inaccurate by comparing the voice received through the voice input unit with the reference voice of meaning units stored in the voice storage unit, and controlling the display unit to display the detected phrase of meaning units. |
