The present invention relates to a lighting apparatus, and more particularly, to a lighting apparatus using a light emitting device, which is capable of driving the light emitting device by using AC power. The lighting apparatus using a light emitting device includes: a rectifier unit configured to rectify AC power; a light emitting unit including at least one light source connected to an output terminal of the rectifier unit; a first converter unit connected to the rectifier unit and including a first switch device and a PFC PWM control unit configured to control the first switch device; and a second converter unit connected between the first converter unit and the light emitting unit and including a second switch device and a PWM control unit configured to control the second switch device, wherein the PFC PWM control unit is set to control the second switch device such that an output voltage of the first converter unit has the minimum voltage value at which the second converter unit is operable. |
