The present technique relates to an image sensor, a processing method and an electronic device that enable reduction of power consumption. An image sensor comprises: a pixel board in which a plurality of pixels for performing photoelectric conversions to output pixel signals are two-dimensionally arranged; signal processing units which are two-dimensionally arranged and responsible for signal processing of the pixel signals outputted from the pixels of pixel blocks each consisting of one or more of the pixels of the pixel board and the number of which is equal to the number of the pixel blocks; horizontal control lines the number of which is equal to the number of the signal processing units in the vertical direction; vertical control lines the number of which is equal to the number of the signal processing units in the horizontal direction; and arithmetic operation units which receive horizontal control signals supplied via the horizontal control lines and vertical control signals supplied via the vertical control lines and perform arithmetic operations. The signal processing units operate in accordance with the results of the arithmetic operations. The present technique can be applied to, for example, an image sensor or the like that captures images. |
